Employers Agent and Contract Administration

 

Our team of experienced employers agents undertake the role of contract administration on many forms of building contracts. They monitor costs, programmes and quality on site to ensure each project is delivered to the clients' requirements.

 

We liaise closely with our clients on the feasibility of new projects right through to scheme completion. Schemes range from small minor works projects through to complex multi million pound developments. 

 

Our specific services we offer include:

 

  • Overseeing and managing the design stage
  • Completing Homes and Communities Agency or any other funding authority's compliance checklist
  • Housing Quality Indicator (HQI) Assessments
  • Ensuring the design team and contractor comply with the client's brief
  • Production of Employers Requirements
  • Assessing and evaluating contractors proposals
  • Preparation of contract documentation
  • Site visits and inspection reports to monitor quality and progress on site
  • Chairing design meetings
  • Preparing valuations, financial reports and cashflows
  • Carrying out contract administration including issuing of project change orders and notices
  • Advising on workmanship disputes
  • Undertaking snagging and re-inspections prior to completion to ensure a quality product is produced
  • Checking and agreeing the Final Account
  • Monitoring and overseeing projects during the defects liability period
