Client: Velmore Community Centre
Services: Project Manager
Rund Partnership worked closely with the Velmore Community Centre committee members to obtain planning permission to demolish a garage block and forecourt and design a community allotment scheme, to provide food to be sold in the community centre café. During this project we not only provided guidance through the planning process but we also negotiated with the contractor on their behalf offering advice, as well as formulating a sustainability strategy regarding the environmental impact of the proposed scheme. All our work was carried out for no fee as part of our commitment to support social cohesion projects and local community initiatives.
TESTIMONIAL
Due to the nature of the project which involved a number of external partners, external funding criteria and planning conditions for this site, this project has not been without its challenges! However, despite the challenges Rund has throughout the process been both professional and highly responsive to our requirements, managing each situation as they have arisen. I have been reassured and remained confident at all times that any obstacles will be overcome and managed with good outcomes whilst maintaining high standards at all times. We have been very grateful for the good humour that has accompanied good management!
