The BRE have now launched the BREEAM assessment method aimed at  measuring the sustainability of the refurbishment of domestic properties.

Rund Partnership’s sustainability team worked on 1 out of 14 pilots nationally which were started in 2010 to assist the BRE in developing this assessment method.  We worked closely with the BRE, PMC Construction and RBA Architects to assess the refurbishment of a 100 year old street property in Portsmouth which has now been rated BREEAM Excellent under the scheme.
