LandAid, which is Rund’s Charity for the Year, has recently produced their Impact Report providing examples of their amazing work to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK. Did you know, for instance, that last year 6,767 young people were supported by projects funded by LandAid? Or that they gave out £1,260,924 in grants, their highest ever amount?
With 3.5 million UK children expected to be living in extreme poverty by 2020, and 1 million young people not in education, employment or training, LandAid is relevant now more than ever.
We are delighted to be supporting LandAid as our charity of the year in 2015, including taking part in the LandAid Summer Run, LandAid Day and our own Cycle Challenge on 6th November.
