Rund has been appointed as Independent Certifier on Phase 3 of a multi-million-pound project in Canning Town – the Hallsville Quarter Development Project.
The Hallsville Quarter Development Project comprises 5 phases and will deliver 1,148 mixed tenure housing units, plus leisure space, retail space and community facilities. The project also includes new pedestrian links, cycling and parking spaces, and forms part of a £3.7 billion regeneration scheme in Canning Town, aiming to transform the area into a flourishing residential, retail and leisure destination in East London.
With Phase 3 works beginning later this year, Rund’s role as Independent Certifier will see us act jointly between multiple parties – Linkcity, Grainger plc and One Housing – to provide independent, impartial monitoring.
Our scope of service at Hallsville Quarter will include certifying valuations / milestone payments, monitoring compliance of the construction works, providing regular progress reports, certifying commencement and completion of the works and participating in dispute resolution if required.
Phase 3 of the Hallsville Quarter Development Project consists of 620 residential units, with a mix of private residential, private rented and affordable housing units. In addition, Phase 3 will see the development of 1,545 sqm of leisure space and a basement car park.
