Rund celebrates three staff promotions

Rund is delighted to announce that three members of our talented team have recently received promotions, reflective of the hard work and professional development they have applied to their careers over the past year:

  • Will Taylor has been promoted to Managing Surveyor from his role as Senior Surveyor. Will joined the London team in 2021 with 17 years’ experience working in the property and construction industry across multi-million-pound residential, education, and retail schemes. Since joining Rund, he has worked on schemes such as Tolworth Tower for Meadow Partners, West Horsley for Abri and Thakeham, and Mill Road for Telford Homes. With Will’s experience, he will be focusing on delivering an exceptional service for our clients, as well as mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Lewis Richardson has been promoted to Surveyor from his role as Assistant Surveyor. Lewis joined our London team following a role as an Assistant Commercial Manager for another consulting firm, where he gained experience predominantly working on residential and education sector projects. Since his employment at Rund he has worked on schemes such as Gallions Reach for Sigma Capital, Stanhope Gardens for Man Group, and Kings Cross S5 for CBRE.
  • Tom McFadyen has been promoted to Surveyor from his role as Assistant Surveyor. Tom joined our Bristol team in 2022 from a facilities management background, having worked in both estimating and business support roles, where he worked across all areas of contractual and financial management. At Rund, he has provided support across a variety of our South West schemes, including Sawyers Close for Abri, PBSA cost planning for Osborne, and Broadmayne for Abri.


Further to the above, the following individuals have had changes in their role title to further reflect and refine the duties they carry out. These are:

  • Sheri Ajibike is now Assistant Clerk of Works, having previously been Finishing and Quality Surveyor. 
  • Rebecca Lee is now Assistant HR Advisor and works full-time within the People team, having previously been Administrator. 
  • Tracey Nicholas is now Salesforce Manager, having previously been Personal Assistant. 
  • Hilary Watson is now Office Manager & PA to the Executive Board, having previously been Personal Assistant. 

The above changes are the result of individual development plans -- established during 121s and six-monthly appraisals and in line with personal career aspirations. We firmly believe these are to be celebrated as well, as they are indicative of the above individuals forming their career identity and succeeding in their identified development objectives.
