The development will provide 232 new homes in a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Enhanced by various amenities including a 2,000 sq ft rooftop terrace, the design also benefits from a low-carbon energy strategy and eco-friendly features.
Starlight Investments has also acquired a 3,500 sq ft commercial unit located within the development which has been earmarked for future use as additional amenity space. The seven buildings that are making up the development form part of a wider masterplan and are currently under construction with Bellway London.
Our Technical Due Diligence process helped Starlight identify risks at an early stage of the project, allowing us to mitigate these within the contract. Since the blocks had been designed prior to acquisition by Starlight, our investigation and analysis also ensured that the completed development would align with Starlight’s requirements.
As the post-contract Principal Consultant, we are carrying out ongoing monitoring that covers compliance with the contract and project management, along with development management services for the amenity space and interior design of all seven blocks. This meticulous approach safeguards Starlight’s ambitious vision for Copperhouse Green, which will transform the site in Dartford into a stunning new community suited for families and commuters travelling to London.
Through our Clerk of Works services, we are providing general quality, fire-stopping, and M&E inspections to ensure the new development meets quality and health and safety standards. Our dedicated project team are applying a client-centric approach to monitoring services throughout the construction, handover, and post-completion phases.
