Rund has been appointed as Clerk of Works by Peabody to convert Times House, London Dock to provide a mix of social and affordable rented family homes.
Project Background
The 15-acre London Dock site will be transformed by St George into a mixed-use development incorporating new homes, offices, restaurants and shops. 486 of the 1,800 new homes will be affordable, with 274 affordable and social rented homes and 212 homes for first-time buyers. Over half the development will be open space including six acres of public realm with two new squares, market gardens and a 375 metre promenade.
The Solution
St George is partnering with Peabody Trust to deliver the first 70 affordable homes at its London Dock development, converting Times House, the former Times magazine offices, into a mix of social and affordable rented family homes.
