Throughout the year, Rund’s People team works hard to ensure the wellbeing and satisfaction of all our employees. The last twelve months have seen numerous wins for the team, including the record success of Rund’s annual Graduate Day and the training of employees to Mental Health First Aider status. Added to this, Rund welcomed over 30 new starters to the business. All of these impressive developments have been made possible by the dedication of the People team.

Given these successes, it comes as no surprise that Rebecca Lee has been promoted from Assistant HR Advisor to HR Advisor. Rebecca’s journey at Rund demonstrates exactly the kind of professional agency we champion. Initially joining as an Administrator, Rebecca was still exploring potential career avenues when she started at Rund. Interested in HR, she began working on our recruitment function alongside her main administration role, leading to her formal induction into the People team in October 2023.

Since then, Rebecca’s role has adapted in line with Rund’s continued growth. Her day-to-day tasks include recruitment and onboarding, supporting managers, working on the graduate scheme, and assisting with a range of different queries from staff across the whole business. To support her development, she has been undertaking the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Associate Diploma in People Management, which she studies for alongside her role. Everyone at Rund can attest to Rebecca’s friendly and helpful demeanour, which facilitates her support of both existing staff as well as new starters. Rebecca is also highly organised, driven, and analytical, which helps her put together recruitment events like the Graduate Day and stalls at University Fairs, evaluating their success for potential improvement.

In her new role, Rebecca will continue to innovate ways to support the team. This year has already seen an expansion of staff benefits, now inclusive of private healthcare and enhanced maternity provision.
