Stonewater has appointed Rund on a national framework to deliver multiple services, including Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works, and Principal Designer, on various projects across the country.
The social housing provider, which manages 34,500 homes across England, has introduced the new framework to support its ambitious targets of delivering 1,500 homes per year between 2022 and 2023.
In addition to providing core services as Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works, and Principal Designer, our broad role will involve additional responsibilities including Cost and Building Consultancy services. We will be providing full and comprehensive support to Stonewater, offering our expertise across different project elements from start to finish to ensure every completed development meets only the highest quality standards.
Phil Smith, Associate Director at Rund commented: “Stonewater has been a valued client of ours for many years, so we are delighted to be extending our services with them on a significant scale. They are committed to delivering good quality, affordable, and energy-efficient homes to support thousands in need. It is invigorating to work with a company with such a strong vision. We are looking forward to the diverse opportunities Stonewater’s Employer’s Agent framework will bring as we work as an extension of their highly regarded team.”
Stonewater operates across 140 local authority areas and has been involved in various partnerships to support nationwide efforts to tackle the housing crisis - including collaborations with Legal & General Affordable Homes, Homes England, and The Guinness Partnership.
