Climate change is a grave threat, requiring swift action. We recognise the role of buildings and construction in emissions and are actively helping to address the climate crisis.

We help our clients deliver eco-friendly, energy-efficient buildings that enhance occupants’ well-being and reduce their carbon footprint. Sustainability goes beyond construction, and by retrofitting existing buildings and embracing reuse, we revitalise older buildings, conserve resources and cut waste.

Rund is committed to taking actions that contribute to a greener, more sustainable future as we take proactive steps to become a carbon-neutral business. Given Rund’s continued growth, we regularly assess our energy consumption impact. We have taken measures to tackle our overall usage through technology, working practices and offsetting. This year, Rund offset 91.775t of carbon dioxide, supporting diverse verified carbon reduction projects which have a global impact.

We continuously work towards managing our carbon footprint through energy-efficient practices, waste reduction initiatives, and promoting sustainable behaviours among our employees and partners. We are also actively exploring ways to integrate more decarbonisation solutions into our operations and supply chain to minimise our environmental impact further. Since 2018, we have continuously reduced our gas, electricity and water consumption as shown below. We continue to introduce ways to reduce our consumption further.

SOCIAL
ONE RUND
Creating positive outcomes for people and communities

Our people are at the heart of what we do. We actively support our people, their careers, aspirations, and development. We drive social change for people in communities where we operate by providing opportunities. Members of Rund are also encouraged and supported to individually join industry forums and platforms, such as WISH, to promote betterment and diversity. As One Rund, we truly do build stronger communities together.

BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

lighthouseRund has selected The Lighthouse Club as its charity partner for 2023 and 2024. The Lighthouse Club is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial well-being support to construction workers and allied-industry workers, such as those at surveying and construction companies, along with their families.

They receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within the industry to help them continue their vital work. Find out more via their website.
