What does it mean to be a Graduate Surveyor?

Our purpose as a business is to provide professional advice to clients on their building developments, including defining their brief and project aims, coordinating the design, preparing tender documentation, administrating the contract, and inspecting the work of other appointed parties, including building contractors.

While your role at Rund will be Graduate Surveyor, you’ll be exposed to a number of key roles within the building consultancy sphere. Unlike other graduate pathways on offer, at Rund, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors and disciplines and truly develop an enhanced portfolio.

All we ask for is an interest in progressing a career in the construction sector. Many of our Graduates have non-cognate degrees in areas such as business, social sciences, and engineering. At Rund, you’ll receive on the job training and access to our established post-graduate Masters and APC pathways to get you up to speed in providing a first-rate consultancy service.

Not only will you develop vast technical knowledge relating to construction, you’ll also gain valuable transferable skills relating to a consultancy sector as a whole - including but not limited to communication, problem solving, and presenting/pitching.
