Graduates supported
Supporting clients in delivering and maximising the potential of both their new build and refurbishment projects.
Building your career
Our graduate programme offers a defined pathway for success in the built environment as a Graduate Surveyor, complete with support for RICS accredited master’s degrees and the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
You’ll be joining a Top 150 Consultant with national presence and given the opportunity to grow your experience in multiple sectors and disciplines.
Our purpose as a business is to provide professional advice to clients on their building developments, including defining their brief and project aims, coordinating the design, preparing tender documentation, administrating the contract, and inspecting the work of other appointed parties, including building contractors.
While your role at Rund will be Graduate Surveyor, you’ll be exposed to a number of key roles within the building consultancy sphere. Unlike other graduate pathways on offer, at Rund, you’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors and disciplines and truly develop an enhanced portfolio.
All we ask for is an interest in progressing a career in the construction sector. Many of our Graduates have non-cognate degrees in areas such as business, social sciences, and engineering. At Rund, you’ll receive on the job training and access to our established post-graduate Masters and APC pathways to get you up to speed in providing a first-rate consultancy service.
Not only will you develop vast technical knowledge relating to construction, you’ll also gain valuable transferable skills relating to a consultancy sector as a whole - including but not limited to communication, problem solving, and presenting/pitching.
Supporting clients in delivering and maximising the potential of both their new build and refurbishment projects.
Our team is on hand to maximise the value of your built asset and manage all aspects of your commercial property portfolio.
Working for you to ensure all works are carried out safely and efficiently, and managing construction programmes to not adversely impact teaching environments.
The latest thinking to deliver the most appropriate residential solutions requires a collaborative approach and a positive project team.
What our employees say
Rund’s policy is to encourage graduates to learn first-hand what it means to be successful in this career. There is a real focus on professional and individual development here at Rund which is something I feel proud to be a part of.
Thanks to Rund’s continued training and support I was able to pass the RICS APC first time. I’ve since joined the APC team so I can share my knowledge and experience of the process with and experience of the process with those undertaking the journey.
A work experience placement was enough to leave me inspired to pursue a longer-term career with Rund, and I’ve since come a long way thanks to my team regularly checking in and being open to answering any of my queries.
At Rund, there are many opportunities to advance your career right from the start of your enrolment on the graduate scheme. I have been supported through my MSc in Quantity Surveying at UCEM, enabling me to build my expertise.
As a growing, ambitious consultancy, we invest a significant amount of time and effort in the expertise and experience of our team.
We take into account your previous experience, interests and ambitions to help you build a long-term career to be proud of. We’ll help you develop a bespoke training plan to ensure you’re gaining the right experience to achieve chartership within your preferred timeframe.
Our defined pathway is one well-trodden by many of our current employees and is guaranteed to set you up for success.
