Rund is supporting HG Living with Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services at a major purpose-built student accommodation scheme in the centre of Newcastle.
St James’ Boulevard involves the creation of 350 new high-quality apartments, designated for local university students. Amenity space will also be developed, including a gym, study rooms, cinema room, and external courtyard. We will be involved from project inception, initially formulating and administering the contract for demolition and enabling works. Our experts will also carry out monthly valuations, oversee design stages, and manage contractor appointments.
Our Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying roles will also continue throughout the main works as part of a two-year build programme. Our extensive range of responsibilities will include monthly site visits, contractor monitoring, administering building contract terms, and cashflow monitoring and reporting.
