Rund's Clerk of Works expertise has been recognised again by Network Homes, as the housing association has appointed us on its affordable housing project in Burnt Oak, Edgware.

The site will be regenerated after hosting a former supermarket, with 100 new homes and new commercial space delivered. The homes will offer a mix of tenures to cater to varying affordable housing needs, including Shared Ownership, London Affordable Rent and London Living Rent.

As Clerk of Works, we will be responsible for ensuring first-hand that the correct building specifications are delivered to the highest quality regarding design, safety, workmanship, and installation. Our hands-on approach means a large amount of our time will be spent on site, carrying out multiple responsibilities, including identifying defects throughout the building process and suggesting corrections. We will also inspect and cross-check construction work with drawings and specifications and keep detailed records, such as work progress and trades on site.

Rund has worked with Network Homes for 6 years, collaborating on multiple projects including Thrayle House in South London, Rectory Park in Northolt, and The Madison in Canary Wharf. Each project forms part of Network Homes’ five-year strategy to start a minimum of 1,000 affordable homes by March 2023.
