Rund proud to be sponsoring Inside Housing’s Build More Homes & New Towns Summit

Rund is sponsoring Inside Housing’s Build More Homes & New Towns Summit on the 16th April 2026, which brings together more than 500 senior figures from across development, investment, housing delivery and local government to focus on accelerating UK housebuilding. The event takes place as the government pursues its ambition to deliver 1.5 million homes within this Parliament, supported by planning reforms intended to speed up decision-making, enable higher density development and expand the use of brownfield land.

New towns form a central part of this national strategy. Brabazon in Bristol has recently been identified among the proposed locations capable of delivering up to 40,000 homes within a next-generation programme of new settlements. Rund is already supporting delivery at Brabazon through our appointment by YTL Developments as Independent Certifier for the purpose-built student accommodation scheme comprising 1,514 student beds within the emerging district. We are also involved in Welborne Garden Village in Hampshire, where our multidisciplinary roles support the delivery of this planned 6,000 home community.

The summit’s agenda highlights the scale of the sector’s challenges and opportunities, with 18 in-depth sessions delivered across multiple content streams and contributions from more than 50 senior speakers. Topics include updates from Homes England, planning reform, viability, investment, infrastructure-led development and models for new settlements. Among the contributors is Simon Century, Chief Investment Officer at Homes England, whose work includes shaping national investment strategy and supporting the development of the National Housing Bank.

Rund’s sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting collaborative, high-quality and strategically aligned approaches to increasing housing supply at a time when coordinated action across the sector is essential.
