Rund is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior members of its Quantity Surveying team, underlining the business's continued investment in its cost consultancy service and the talented people who deliver it.

Stuart Binnie has been promoted to Director. Stuart joined Rund in 2022 as Associate Director and has since played an instrumental role in establishing and growing the business's South West presence and Quantity Surveying service. His commitment to delivering quality outcomes - and to empowering those around him to do the same - has seen him contribute at a leadership level throughout his time with the business.

In his new role as Director, Stuart will take on a broader, business-wide remit. His responsibilities will span team growth and succession by shaping the long-term structure and capability of Rund's Quantity Surveying team, mentorship and people management of senior-level colleagues, and business development - with a particular focus on cost consultancy and wider consultancy services across London and the South, including supporting new business proposals. Stuart will also contribute regularly to Rund’s Operational Board, ensuring strategies are delivering results and the business remains well-positioned for continued growth.

Further to this, Ben Worby has been promoted to Associate Director. Ben's progression at Rund speaks directly to Rund’s approach to developing talent from within. Having joined as an Assistant Surveyor in 2017, he has advanced steadily through the business to reach leadership level - demonstrating at every stage an unwavering commitment to his clients, his work, and the development of his colleagues. His calm, assured presence has made him a trusted figure within the team and a natural fit for this next step.

As Associate Director, Ben will focus on three key areas: Quantity Surveying service development, people development, and business development. This includes leading, growing and refining Rund's cost consultancy offering, line management and professional development of colleagues in London and across the wider business, and identifying and pursuing new client and project opportunities to contribute to Rund's commercial growth across key regions.
