To celebrate Rund’s growth and collective team achievements, our Directors and staff enjoyed a thoroughly deserved team building away day on Friday, 28th September.

This year’s day was hosted at Marwell Activity Centre, where people got the opportunity to try new activities, challenge themselves and enjoy a day in the Hampshire countryside. As nothing quite strikes fear into the heart of some like the words “team-building event”, our away days are focussed on everyone enjoying each other’s company and interacting with each other away from the office.

Marwell Activity Centre, set in a rural secluded area near Winchester with ponds, streams, pastures, playing fields, oaks and conifers, was the perfect location for people to take on the centre’s 42ft climbing wall, shoot arrows on the archery range, tackle the obstacle course and other outdoor pursuits like kayaking, wayfaring and zip wires.

Commenting on another successful Rund away day, Richard Mussell, Managing Director, said “Following a busy year so far, which has included recruiting new members of staff, appointing a non-executive director, securing more projects and increasingly being recognised in the industry, it is important to take time out for team building and interaction across the company. Our accomplishments, growth and diversification are down to the whole Rund team, and our team building days help to recognise these achievements and celebrate our success”.
