Rund recently donated essential items to the Windsor Homeless Project (WHP) as part of our social value commitment on The Granges regeneration scheme - known locally as Sawyers Close - delivered in partnership with Abri.

WHP is a registered charity that supports homeless and vulnerable people across Windsor, operating from the Alma Beacon Hub. Founded in 2009 following the death of a local man who was sleeping rough, it has become a vital community centre. It supports not only people sleeping rough, but also those who are sofa-surfing, living in temporary accommodation, or facing challenges such as poor mental health and addiction. Guests can access hot meals, showers, laundry facilities, clothing and specialist support services, delivered with dignity and compassion.

Our donation included trainers, shorts, t-shirts, socks and toiletries – practical everyday items that can make a real difference to people using WHP's services.

Among the items was a pair of running trainers for a WHP guest preparing to take on the Windsor Half Marathon on 27 September 2026. The guest is running both in support of the project and to raise funds for the Alma Beacon Hub. We're pleased that our donation will play a small part in helping them get to the start line.

The donation reflects our broader approach to social value, helping ensure local communities benefit beyond the physical development itself. Through our work with Abri at The Granges, we're committed to creating lasting positive outcomes for local people, and supporting organisations like WHP is an important part of that commitment.
