On Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th October, our 2026 cohort of graduates and trainees came together at our London office for this year's Graduate Induction Days.
The two-day event forms an important part of Rund's graduate pathway, helping early-career professionals gain a broader understanding of the business, develop connections across teams, and explore the support available to them as they begin their careers in the built environment.
Across the two days, attendees took part in a wide range of sessions designed to provide a well-rounded introduction to life at Rund. The programme began with a welcome from our Managing Director, Richard Mussell, before covering topics including HR and people support, our graduate pathway, support services, key business systems and software, further education opportunities, APC routes, communication skills, time management, social value, and ESG. Graduates also had the opportunity to hear directly from colleagues across the business, gaining first-hand insight from those who have already progressed through the pathway themselves.
While the induction days are an important starting point, they represent just one stage of a wider development journey. Throughout the programme, our graduates are supported through a combination of practical project experience, mentoring, structured training, further education opportunities, and APC guidance as they work towards their professional goals. Members of our 2025 and 2024 cohorts continue to progress through the pathway today, building experience and developing their careers across the business.
The Graduate Induction Days reflect Rund's long-standing commitment to investing in future talent and creating opportunities for people to develop rewarding careers within the surveying and construction industry.
