Rund is delighted to announce the appointment of Lauren Spooner as Assistant Surveyor in our Southampton office, supporting our wider Building Surveying team.

Lauren joins the business from a large city council, where she has developed a broad range of experience across residential property inspection, building safety, compliance, and asset management while completing her surveying apprenticeship.

Her experience includes undertaking stock condition surveys, housing condition inspections, fire risk assessments, fire door inspections, damp and mould surveys, disrepair investigations, and disabled facilities grant assessments. She has also produced professional reports to RICS standards and contributed to the management of maintenance and compliance programmes across a substantial housing portfolio.

Alongside her practical experience, Lauren intends to progress her RICS assessment of professional competence and holds qualifications in fire risk assessment, domestic energy assessment, asbestos awareness, and HHSRS inspection and assessment. 

As part of Rund's Building Surveying team, Lauren will support a variety of surveying commissions, drawing on her growing technical expertise and experience within the housing sector.
