Network Homes and Countryside Partnerships commission Rund as Joint Venture Supervisor at major regeneration scheme, Northwick Park

Rund’s expertise in joint venture developments continues to be recognised as G15 member, Network Homes and Countryside Partnerships have engaged our services at Northwick Park in Brent.

The scheme will see its first phase deliver 654 homes and 1,800 sqm of commercial space over the next four years. These works form part of a wider development plan which includes up to 1,600 homes, 800 student residences, 17,800 sqm of academic space, 8,500 sqm sports facilities, and 5,000 of sqm commercial/retail space. Family housing is a key aspect of the development, with a mix of tenures and approximately 50% of all properties set to be affordable.

Our role as Joint Venture Supervisor will be crucial in helping all parties work collaboratively, while managing individual interests and helping achieve successful outcomes. We will facilitate discussions between all involved parties, monitoring processes and progress in line with the wider business plan. Our expert team will also act as an arbitrator, mediating between parties and helping ensure long-term, positive relationships are maintained.

Paul Belfield, Executive Director at Rund commented: “Northwick Park is set to be a landmark destination in northwest London with a wealth of high-quality homes, amenities, employment, and educational facilities on its doorstep.

“It is invigorating to be part of a highly collaborative initiative between established organisations, with a joint ambition to create a bustling new community, while delivering local economic prosperity. Our experts will contribute extensive skills and experience from working on a range of multi-million-pound joint venture schemes to help Northwick Park deliver its high-quality promise.”

The overall transformation of Northwick Park is being delivered through a partnership between Network Homes, London North West Healthcare NHS Trust, Brent Council and the University of Westminster through a One Public Estate (OPE) project. The OPE is an established national programme, delivered by the Cabinet Office and Local Government Association, which encourages public sector organisations to use their property assets to create economic growth, deliver new jobs and homes, improve public services, and operate more efficiently.

Our role as Joint Venture Supervisor at Northwick Park adds to our growing portfolio of work on major joint venture schemes. Find out more about our full scope of Joint Venture and Development Monitoring services here.
