Rund Partnership’s Project Manager expertise has been recognised again as long-term client, Grainger has commissioned our services on a refurbishment project at its Shillington Old School development.

The project involves enhancements to Shillington Old School, a residential building comprising 56 apartments in Clapham, London.

Gordon Harrow, Senior Building Surveyor at Rund Partnership commented: “Shillington Old School is a unique building with various features still in place from its former life as a school, so a sympathetic programme of works is essential to ensure its characterful design is retained. We’re delighted to work with Grainger on another valuable project, building on our 6-year strong relationship.”

Our Project Manager role comes following our work as Building Surveyor, where we carried out a thorough building inspection and created detailed specifications with recommendations for works. We also managed a competitive tender process, using our expertise to select suitable contractors who would complete the works in line with the highest quality standards. As Project Manager, we are responsible for coordinating all parties involved in the project, to ensure strategies are aligned with the client’s programme.

We will also implement thorough quality control measures across all works and carry out fortnightly meetings with Grainger to keep them closely informed of progress.
