We are delighted to confirm that Rund has been appointed to SNG’s (Sovereign Network Group’s) new Employer’s Agent and Principal Designer (CDM) framework. Over the next four years, we will support the housing association in their delivery of projects throughout London and the South.
Providing over 84,000 homes to 210,000 customers, SNG provides good, affordable homes: the foundation for a better life, and has a vision of thriving communities, over generations. They have even pledged to establish a new Community Foundation which will invest £100m in communities over the next ten years.
The framework appointment follows Rund’s collaborations with SNG on multiple projects. Most prominent is Merrick Place, Southall – a £200m mixed-use urban regeneration scheme which will create 575 new homes.
Our consultancy services will support SNG in their goal of delivering 25,000 homes over the next ten years. We are delighted to develop our ongoing partnership with the housing association in light of our shared commitment to delivering sustainable, affordable housing throughout the UK.
Our appointment as Employer’s Agent and Principal Designer (CDM) will involve guiding SNG through every stage of their development projects - from early-stage feasibility assessments and design coordination to contract administration and construction monitoring. Additionally, we will oversee health and safety compliance under CDM regulations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and to the highest quality standards. This framework reinforces our commitment to excellence in delivering comprehensive consultancy solutions for the built environment.
Dan Hall, Associate Director at Rund, commented, ‘I am delighted to see Rund appointed to SNG’s new Employer’s Agent/Principal Designer framework. This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue our strong partnership with SNG and contribute to their ambitious plans to deliver much-needed affordable housing across the South. Our shared commitment to creating affordable, sustainable communities makes this collaboration particularly meaningful, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact we can achieve together over the next four years.’
