Richard Mussell, Rund’s Managing Director, joined fellow business leaders at the BCC Annual Conference 2019 last Thursday. Opening the conference, Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) remarked: “We are gathered here today at a pivotal moment for our business communities, for the UK economy, and for our trading relationships around the world”.
Francis Martin concluded his opening remarks by saying “As the UK embarks on a new chapter, the framework of which is still to be written, it will be business – those who create prosperity, jobs and opportunities working globally and locally – that will be the ultimate determinants of our shared success – not politics or ideology”.
Speaking last Thursday, Dr Adam Marshall, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), addressed the deep levels of frustration and anger among business communities across the country towards those in Westminster over the ongoing political Brexit turmoil.
Following the conference, Richard Mussell, commented “Business leaders need to keep moving forward in these uncertain times. We need to keep our heads and focus on future business success. As a business, Rund Partnership is resilient and adaptable, and we will continue to flourish despite the current political uncertainty that will affect our common future”.
