Following recent Staff Appraisals, Rund is delighted to announce that several promotions have been made across the business, recognising the hard work and clear personal and professional development our team has applied to their careers at Rund across the past 12 months.

As a company with talent ranging from junior to senior level, we take great pride in our training and development schemes, striving to get everyone that joins us fully qualified in their field. Our mission to be the ‘Employer of Choice’ means we place strong emphasis on growing our own talent and understanding that every individual brings something valuable to our wider team that deserves to be recognised.

As of the 1st of April, the following promotions have been awarded:

• Caroline Deakin, our Head of People, has been promoted to Director. Caroline has been full-time with Rund since 2022 and has worked to improve our HR services, staff development, and approach to recruitment across the business.
   
• Tom French, Managing Surveyor at our Birmingham office, has been promoted to Associate Director. Tom joined Rund in 2022 and has been instrumental in the growth of our Birmingham office and Midlands presence, which will continue to be a key priority for the business.
   
• Dan Hall, Managing Surveyor at our London office, has been promoted to Associate Director. Dan has been with Rund since 2019, working his way up from Surveyor level. To date Dan has helped develop our Joint Ventures services, growing our presence as a leader in this sector. Going forward, Dan will be transitioning into the development of new business opportunities across all areas of our operation.  
   
• Simon Stewart, Managing Surveyor at our Bristol office, has been promoted to Associate Director. Simon initially joined Rund in 2016 as an Assistant Surveyor and has been instrumental in the opening of our Bristol office. Simon will now be focusing on heading up our services and growth across the South West.
   
• Terry Little, Managing Clerk of Works at our London office, has been promoted to Associate Director. Terry has been part of the team since 2020 and will continue his focus on the continued growth and development of our Clerk of Works team across the business to ensure consistency of approach and service delivery with his team.
   
• Will Ashton, Senior Surveyor at our London office, has been promoted to Managing Surveyor. Will joined Rund as a full-time Assistant Surveyor in 2019 after completing summer internships in 2018 and 2016 respectively, and now leads our Due Diligence service to clients, which is now well respected within the industry. In addition, Will is set to further support the ongoing professional development of our surveying teams and the development of our graduate programme.
   
• Phil Owens, Surveyor at our Birmingham office, has been promoted to Senior Surveyor. Phil joined Rund in 2023 and has since gone from strength to strength in supporting our Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Employer’s Agent services.
   
• Milind Page, Assistant Surveyor at our Birmingham office, has been promoted to Surveyor. Milind joined Rund in 2023 and has offered significant support to our Quantity Surveying teams across the business over the past 12 months, being a key part of the QS team across Rund.
   
• Sameer Abbas, Clerk of Works at our London office, has been promoted to Senior Clerk of Works. Sameer has been with Rund since 2021 and has been instrumental in the delivery of our specialist M&E Clerk of Works offering, recently achieving Licentiate grade with The Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate.
   
• Tony Panesar, Clerk of Works at our London office, has been promoted to Senior Clerk of Works. Tony joined Rund in 2021 and much like Sameer, has offered significant support across our specialist M&E Clerk of Works service to clients across the UK.
   
• Faron Culver, Clerk of Works at our London office, has been promoted to Senior Clerk of Works. Faron joined Rund in 2021 and has been instrumental in the development of our construction-quality related Clerk of Works services.
   
• Velichko Georgiev, Clerk of Works at our London office, has been promoted to Senior Clerk of Works. Velichko joined Rund in 2018 and much like Faron, has offered the team vast amounts of technical construction quality advice which has led to the ongoing improvement of our service.
   
• Max Minney, Graduate Surveyor at our London office, has been promoted to Assistant Surveyor. Max joined Rund in 2023 following a summer work placement with the team, which he enjoyed so much that he applied for a permanent position with us. Since, Max has applied himself thoroughly to the role and we are delighted to see him move along our Graduate Pathway. 
   
• Jason Moulder, Surveyor at our Southampton office, has been promoted to Senior Surveyor. Jason joined Rund in 2017 as an Assistant Surveyor and quickly proved himself to be a capable and diligent member of the team, offering support across a variety of Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying appointments in the South.
   
• John Percivall, Surveyor at our Southampton office, has been promoted to Senior Surveyor. John has been with Rund since 2017, supporting us in the delivery of our Employer’s Agent and Project Management appointments across the South Coast.
   
• Lara Milligan, Assistant Surveyor at our Southampton office, has been promoted to Surveyor. Lara joined Rund in 2022 and has proven herself to be proactive and confident in her daily responsibilities and client-facing roles.
