Rund continues early career investment with graduate hires

Rund is continuing to invest in early career development for aspiring surveyors through further appointments to its established graduate scheme. To this end, this week, we have welcomed the latest additions to our London team – Max Minney, who joins us as Graduate Surveyor, and Mason Henwood, who joins us as Trainee Surveyor.

Max recently completed a two-week summer work experience placement with Rund, which he enjoyed so much that he successfully applied for a permanent position with us. He joins us following the completion of his degree in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol and previous work experience placements at Costain PLC and Searl’s Land, working as Environmental Advisor for HS2 and Land Acquisition Advisor respectively. Across these placements, Max gained valuable experience in areas such as advising engineers and sub-contractors on how to accomplish their tasks with the least environmental impact, conducting site inspections with on-site teams, and researching and presenting sites to clients with development potential.

Mason is joining Rund for his placement year, during the completion of his degree in Building Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University.  Mason has a strong passion for property development and is seeking an opportunity to put his growing knowledge in both residential and commercial property into practice with a reputable company such as Rund. He also brings experience from past work placements as a Labourer at Monarch Roofing and a Customer Service Representative at Quinn Legal, where he obtained useful skills in construction quality monitoring, writing terms of business, and conveyancing quotes. Mason’s aptitude is evidenced through his award for the ‘CBRE Best Level 4 Student in Building Surveying’, which he also intends to achieve at Levels 5 and 6.

We are incredibly proud to continue supporting aspiring surveyors through the appointment of Max and Mason, helping them kickstart a rewarding career in construction and surveying consultancy. They follow in the footsteps of over 30 graduates and work placements Rund has supported over the past decade through our comprehensive graduate pathway and bespoke training programmes.
