Rund donates £4,230 to charities selected by employees

As part of Rund’s 35th anniversary celebrations, the company has been giving back to worthwhile causes and donating £35 on behalf of every member of staff to charities of their choice. These donations, along with those made by Rund and individuals towards other fundraising events this year, have raised a total of £4,230 for various local and national charities.

To mark International Day of Charity (5th September), Rund can now reveal a list of some of the worthwhile causes which have received donations:

Various other charities have also received funding through company donations and individual employee fundraising initiatives including Walk the Walk and the London Marathon. These include King’s College Hospital, Notting Hill Genesis Community Foundation, and Unicef.

Richard Mussell, Managing Director at Rund commented: “We believe every employee should have a say in where our charity donations go, as everyone contributes to our business operations. Each charity on our 35th anniversary donation list means something special to someone, or various individuals in the business and that makes our contribution even more worthwhile.

“We are proud to continue supporting causes which do so much for communities across the UK. Our support aligns with one of our core company values, Collaboration, as these incredible organisations cannot continue to exist without the help of others.”
