In October, Rund's Associate Director Tom French sat down with leading FM and property recruitment agency Boden to take part in their new ‘Building Success in Construction Careers’ podcast. 

In a candid discussion between Tom and Aaron Higgins, Executive Director at Boden, Tom details the steps he took in his career to end up as our Birmingham/Midlands team lead, the person who has had the most influence on his career steps thus far, and the most exciting projects he has had the opportunity to work on. Tom also provides insight into our ‘One Rund’ approach to projects – notably on Welborne, Fareham, where three of our offices are collaborating in providing Joint Venture Supervisor, Quantity Surveyor, and Clerk of Works for Buckland Development Limited. 

The discussion also covers the benefits of exploring different sectors, where Tom encourages individuals to take their time discovering which areas of construction truly interest them, and the importance of flexibility – with Tom explaining how Rund’s flexible approach helps our employees to balance work and personal development.
