Rund introduces new Chartered Building Surveyor, James Perry

Rund has bolstered its teams across the Birmingham and London offices, with the recent appointment of Chartered Building Surveyor, James Perry.

James has brought with him 5 years’ experience in the property and construction industry. He has joined Rund following his previous role at consultant, Hollis (formally Malcolm Hollis LLP).

James’ role at Rund sees him primarily based in Birmingham, where he has lived for 24 years and worked for four years. Prior to commencing his professional career, James studied Building Surveying BSc (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University.

James comments: “I’ve joined Rund at a particularly challenging time for the industry, as the COVID-19 situation has kept the construction industry on its feet and teams have had to adapt accordingly, with projects due to progress as the year goes on.

“Working at Rund opens up lots of opportunities for me to develop my experience in multiple areas, and I’m also excited to be assisting in developing the new office in central Birmingham. Over the next 12 months, I’m keen to grow my employer’s agent and project management portfolio, as well as develop new connections and raise Rund’s profile within the Midlands area.”

Phil Smith, Associate Director at Rund adds: “We are committed to investing in expertise and experience within our teams to provide our clients with the highest quality of service, so are delighted to have James on the Rund team. His strong experience will be invaluable as we continue growing our scope of work in London and the Midlands.”
