We are delighted to reflect on MIPIM 2025, which Rund was privileged to attend last week.

The Palais des Festivals, Cannes saw in MIPIM’s busy programme with a compelling address by Dr Mario Draghi, former President of the European Central Bank, whose insights caused reflection among delegates in the real estate and construction industry. Following this were four days of speeches, panels, awards, and networking events, fostering collaboration and connection between industry leaders.

There was extensive discussion on uncertain investor confidence and cost viability challenges, alongside building safety delays and the skills crisis, which continue to pressure project delivery. However, opportunities for innovation and market resilience remain, with MIPIM serving as a key platform for driving this collaborative change.

The enduring value of MIPIM solidifies its place as a key event in Rund’s calendar, and we’re already looking forward to what next year has in store.
