Rund is continuing to invest in the growth of its Clerk of Works team in London, with the recruitment of our latest Assistant Clerk of Works – Charlotte Harrigan.
Charlotte has worked in the construction industry for six years; three of these were spent in site management roles, and the other three were spent in administrative roles. Her site management experience started via an apprenticeship with a leading housebuilder, where her main responsibilities included checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings, ensuring construction compliance with NHBC standards and all statutory authorities, and maintaining on-site quality control and safety procedures, amongst others. During this time, Charlotte studied for her NVQ Level 4 Construction Management with the NHBC.
During the completion of her apprenticeship, Charlotte was on track to be offered a full-time Assistant Site Manager position with her employer – a testament to her hard work and capability within the role.
Now seeking out the next stage of her career, the Assistant Clerk of Works role at Rund will provide Charlotte with copious opportunities to improve her on-site construction knowledge and project portfolio through exposure to a variety of developments and sectors, more so than can be experienced through a site management role. We are greatly looking forward to supporting Charlotte throughout her career in construction quality assurance, as she becomes the latest member of our growing Clerk of Works offering.
2023 has seen significant investment in our Clerk of Works offering, to ensure that Rund continues to deliver the very best in construction quality assurance to our clients. You can read more about our service offering here: https://www.rund.co.uk/media
