Rund has confirmed a new corporate partnership with client Hyde to help raise money for their Ambition 2020 programme – kick-starting with 5 Rund employees encouraging donations by taking part in this year’s Vitality Big Half Marathon.
Hyde has 52 years’ experience in providing affordable, quality housing to people across the country, and has launched its Ambition 2020 initiative to offer even wider support to young people in particular – going beyond a bricks and mortar offering, which gives them a safe and stable home environment.
The Ambition 2020 initiative aims to encourage organisations to help bright young people improve their skills and have a positive impact on their community, as well as inspire their peers to make a difference.
Funding from the new corporate partnership will ultimately help expand the breadth of programmes available, with additional opportunities for Rund to get involved in various existing programmes and offer support. As part of the new partnership, Rund staff will join Hyde staff by taking part in the Vitality Big Half Marathon in London on Sunday 1st March 2020, where donations will be encouraged to support the Ambition 2020 initiative.
Paul Belfield, Director at Rund said: “Together with our successful working relationship with Hyde, we are delighted to extend our support with a dedicated partnership, for a vital initiative in their business. Ambition 2019 helped enrich the futures of over 4,000 young people last year, so we’re hoping with our support, the initiative will continue to thrive over the next year and give young people the opportunities they deserve.”
Guy Slocombe, Chief Investment Officer at Hyde said: “Our funding partners play an essential role in helping us unlock the potential of thousands of young people across the UK. So many of our young residents have been impacted by long-term unemployment and anti-social behaviour and our community programmes really help support them through these difficult times and allow them to realise their dreams. We’d like to thank Rund for supporting us on such an important initiative.”
Alongside Ambition 2020, Rund will also be supporting mental health charity, The Red Lipstick Foundation and homeless charity, The Connection this year.
