Rund continues to enhance its reputation across the Midlands as it welcomes two new additions to its Birmingham team this week – Tom French, Managing Surveyor, and Chris Roe, Clerk of Works.

Tom has a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying and brings 16 years of experience from working in the construction industry.

Prior to Rund, he was a Senior Project & Programme Manager at Bupa Group UK. His role centred around the delivery of Richmond Care Villages sites, where he managed external project teams, site teams, and external stakeholders. Tom also spent 8 years at EC Harris LLP, working his way up from Trainee/Graduate Building Surveyor to Project Manager.

Tom will lead and manage our team in Birmingham, playing a key role in supporting our Senior Management team and Directors as we expand our presence across the Midlands.

Chris has a Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Diploma in Construction Management and is a member of The Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI). He has more than 25 years of experience working in the construction industry.

Chris has worked in a variety of roles across the UK and overseas including China, Singapore, and Vietnam. Most recently, he worked as Senior Site Manager at Vinci Construction where he was responsible for the restoration of Hewell Grange – a Grade II Listed Ruin and former prison, owned by the Ministry of Justice. Chris has also worked as Quality Manager and Clerk of Works at Top Capital Group.

Chris will contribute new insights and expertise to our highly regarded Clerk of Works team as we continue delivering high quality standards for every client.
