Rund has helped MTVH successfully acquire Old Kent Road, a proposed 100% affordable housing scheme, following its provision of Technical Due Diligence.
The scheme, located near Brimmington Park, will deliver 168 new affordable homes, a 20,000 sqft Aldi store, external resident’s amenity space, and ground floor car parking.
Our Technical Due Diligence service over the past 12 months has been instrumental in helping MTVH achieve its acquisition. Our extensive scope of work included carrying out a detailed review of all site-specific technical and design information, in addition to build contract documents. We have also ensured any risks throughout the scheme’s lifespan have been identified and mitigated from the offset.
Phil Smith, Director at Rund commented: “Technical Due Diligence is fundamental for any acquisition process, as it gives clients firm assurance that a scheme is cost-effective and will create high-quality assets from the very beginning.
“This project will uplift Old Kent Road, building on its unique character while creating essential new homes and spaces in which communities can thrive. We are looking forward to the next phases of the project and continuing our crucial work to ensure the development is delivered to exceptional standards.”
Our role at Old Kent Road will continue through our appointment as Employer’s Agent as we carry out specification reviews, risk management, and ensure all client requirements are delivered.
