As Rund continues to celebrate new appointments across the Midlands, the company is investing in its Birmingham team to support its growing portfolio of work.
This week, Rund welcomed Phil Owens as its newest Surveyor in the Birmingham office. Phil has an MSc degree in Quantity Surveying and has worked in the property and construction industry for seven years. He joins us following his role as Quantity Surveyor at Henry Riley LLP, where he predominantly worked across large scale industrial and residential projects.
Throughout his time at the company, he carried out a variety of service disciplines including project management and employer’s agent. His broad scope of responsibilities included preparing cost valuations, contract management, value engineering, and tender management.
Prior to Henry Riley LLP, Phil worked at Sanctuary Housing Association for five years. His roles included Property Case Officer and Commercial Asset Surveyor.
We are looking forward to Phil’s valuable contributions as our Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Employer’s Agent services continue to be in high demand with clients. We will also support him through our bespoke training and development programme, as he works towards his ambition of becoming MRICS qualified within the next 12 months.
