Rund is continuing to invest in enhanced talent and expertise across the team as we welcome two new starters at our London office - Tyler van Niekerk as Senior Surveyor and Arda Fettin as Graduate Surveyor.
Tyler joins us following his role as a Project Manager at a leading property consultancy, which included responsibilities such as undertaking project governance throughout the project life cycle, supporting in tendering and procurement of projects and collation of project documents, negotiating with contractors, and providing pre- and post-contract advice to design team members and client stakeholders. Tyler has a BEng in Civil Engineering and has previously worked for construction companies in a site management capacity – so he brings along a wide breadth of industry experience that can be applied to his role at Rund.
Arda is currently undergoing a degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of Warwick. His previous work experience includes consulting internships with various business and banking consultancies, where he gained practical experience in business growth, risk mitigation, and compliance strategies. Arda attended our bootcamp with Warwick Business School back in September 2023 and following this, applied to join Rund for his placement year to gain a broader understanding of business consulting in a live, professional environment and to develop his skillset further while undertaking practical work alongside our teams. During his placement, Arda will gain experience across a range of the property consultancy services we offer, including Employer’s Agent, Project Management, Cost Consultancy, and Contract Administration.
We are delighted to be bolstering Rund’s existing strong project management expertise through the appointment of Tyler, as we continue to be appointed to significant capital projects across London and the wider UK. It is fantastic to be continuing to celebrate the success of our graduate recruitment and work experience initiatives, with Arda joining several other recent and upcoming new starters as part of our 2024 graduate cohort. The success is a testament to the Rund team members actively involved in the shaping of our training and development programme, whose unwavering commitment to service excellence, bespoke support, and practical training methods create an enriching learning environment that empowers our graduates to excel in their careers.
