On 1st November, Rund is walking the Surrey Three Peaks in aid of the mental health charity, the Lighthouse Charity. But in the process, we’re also improving our own mental health. How? A few of our hikers explain all below.
“Walking in the natural environment can have highly positive effects on our mental health, reducing stress and providing clarity and perspective.”
Murray Farmer-Hartley, Clerk of Works

“Working towards and achieving a realistic yet challenging goal provides a sense of accomplishment which makes you feel more positive about yourself and your potential.”
Lizzie Sim, Surveyor

“Supporting important causes boosts feel-good chemicals in your brain, because giving back to others brings fulfilment and connects you to a higher purpose in life.”
Emmanuel Adesanmi, Clerk of Works

“Spending dedicated time with uplifting people has a positive impact on your mood, grounding you and connecting you with what really matters in life.”
Leman Zlatkova, Senior Surveyor
