Rund has appointed Warren Aston as Assistant Clerk of Works in its London office, strengthening its Clerk of Works service across the region.
Warren previously worked in an estates team at a specialist neuro-disability hospital, supporting day-to-day operations and improvement projects. He coordinated contractors and surveyors, supported inspections, managed health and safety requirements, and liaised with residents and senior leaders.
His wider career includes engineering and customer-focused roles, as well as service in the Royal Engineers. An IOSH-qualified professional, he brings practical experience in quality and compliance, together with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
In his new role, Warren will support our Clerk of Works commissions across a range of projects, working alongside colleagues to monitor quality and compliance throughout delivery. The role will give him the opportunity to build on his practical experience, deepen his technical knowledge, and continue learning as part of Rund’s established Clerk of Works team.
Warren’s appointment reflects Rund’s commitment to strengthening the Clerk of Works profession and supporting people at every stage of their careers. Through hands-on project experience and guidance from experienced colleagues, we help our Clerk of Works professionals build their expertise and progress within the industry.
