On behalf of Aster Property Limited, our Building Consultants are helping to improve properties on Acre Court, Beales Close and Rack Close in Andover, Hampshire.

Aster Property, part of Aster Group, are improving three existing residential blocks by:

Acre Court – replacing and renewing defective balconies, including installing new posts and balustrades and carrying out waterproofing and concrete repairs.

Beales Close – installing communal balcony infill panels.

Rack Close – roof replacement and installing communal balcony infill panels.

Initially, we were appointed to assess and survey the condition of the properties and provide Aster Property with accurate building and measured survey data and a comprehensive condition schedule for each block. Due to our in-depth knowledge of construction, building contracts and construction operations, we were subsequently appointed as Contract Administrator.

The works commenced in March 2019 and are due to be completed by November. We are acting in an independent, impartial and fair manner, managing the construction operations to ensure the critical path through to completion is successfully achieved.

In addition to acting as Contract Administrator, we are appointed as Principal Designer to make certain that an effective approach to safety, compliance and risk management is adopted across the construction works.
