Rund is welcoming a new Clerk of Works to its London office, bolstering its circa 80-strong company-wide team.
With 19 years’ experience working in the construction industry, Terry Little joins Rund following his previous role as Project Manager at Fire Technology International Ltd.
Terry began his venture into the industry by completing a three-year apprenticeship in passive fire protection, subsequently becoming an Installation Engineer. His past experience also includes working with the NHS as Building Manager, where he headed up the building department for three hospital sites in Kent, overseeing construction works and managing the building maintenance teams.
Terry commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Rund and working alongside a dedicated team which offers the highest standards of quality in construction throughout every project. I’ve always been interested in increasing the quality of workmanship within a project, and recognise there is a continually growing need for quality assurance as safety and compliance measures have shifted over the years.
“I’m looking forward to applying my fire safety experience to my role, being closely involved in projects from start to finish to ensure that quality is consistent throughout the entirety of the works.”
Paul Belfield, Director at Rund added: “Now is a particularly crucial time for companies to invest in Clerk of Works on their projects, as we are in the midst of implementing practices to tie into the Government’s new building safety measures. Terry is a welcome addition to our team, as he brings a wealth of experience which will help boost our high-quality assurance offering.”
