On Saturday 21st September, 11 brave Rund employees took on the Tough Mudder South 5k challenge in West Sussex.
Tough Mudder is the UK’s leading endurance events series, holding regular challenges across the UK. Obstacles typically include icy water, extreme mud, electricity, and rope climbing – with a focus on encouraging teamwork and problem-solving to reach the finish line.
The team braved the grey skies and challenging obstacles to raise funds for a variety of worthy causes, including:
• Lighthouse (Rund’s nominated charity)
• Cancer Research UK
• Terrence Higgins Trust
• Alzheimer’s Research
• British Heart Foundation
• Choose Love
• Various Domestic Abuse Charities
• The Stroke Association
Through the event, our team has managed to collectively raise over £3,000 for the charities listed above - making the event not just a test of endurance but also a meaningful contribution to causes close to them.
We are also delighted to confirm that our team were all able to successfully finish the course – a fantastic achievement that is a testament to their determination, resilience, and teamwork.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s collective effort and commitment to making a positive difference. The funds raised will go a long way in supporting these vital charities, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated and offered support over the past few weeks. We couldn’t have done it without you!
