Rund offered its Clerk of Works expertise on the delivery of 90 affordable homes within the luxury DAMAC Tower in Lambeth. Our team also oversaw the Section 106 legal agreement, ensuring all legal and quality requirements were met throughout the works. 
Project Background

The ultra-modern, 50-storey DAMAC Tower in Lambeth offers luxury living units in a state-of the-art addition to London's skyline. The tower, completed in Summer 2021 under a turnkey deal, features one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments in London for sale finished to the highest standards, with special ‘winter gardens’ affording panoramic views. Exceptional amenities are Versace-decorated throughout, including the impressive lobby, residents’ lounge overlooking the roof gardens and 23rd-floor swimming pool and gymnasium with far-reaching London vistas. The overarching scheme is a mixed-use development consisting of two buildings:

  • North tower - 50 storeys of predominantly private residential with a single floor of intermediate on Level 3.
  • South tower - 24 storeys of intermediate and affordable/social rent. The top 4 storeys of the south block are allocated as office space.


The Solution

Rund worked directly with the client - Nine Elms Property Limited - on the Section 106 legal agreement overseeing the delivery of the 90 affordable homes within the tower. As part of this, our team - highly experienced in the residential sector and urban developments - offered their expertise throughout the scheme’s planning phase to ensure the agreed local authority requirements on affordable housing were met and community needs were considered throughout. 

Our scope also included regular site inspections to ensure the works were progressing in line with agreed quality and safety standards.
